I am not very happy that the cashier refused to accept the qpons I had for these. I had planned to use one qpon  for $1.00 off two Frosted Mini-wheats, and one qpon for $1.00 off three any Kelloggs cereals. Because the boxes were marked down, they rang up as "Grocery Markdown". Therefore, the computer of course did not recognize them as boxes of Kelloggs cereal. I bought them to give three boxes to the people who were outside collecting for the Food Bank, and two to take home for my kids, so I did not make a fuss about it. I also am sick and did not want to be there all day. I intend to contact the company though. It is very irritating when cashiers decide to make up ruled as they go along. The cashier's reasoning for not accepting them was that "the items were already marked down". If that were the policy of Lowe's Foods, then no customer would ever be able to use a qpon in combination with any sale item. Oh well.
